Basketball in Cape Town is played in the "Winter League", which runs from March till August, with the Off-Season running from September till February.

The League is divided into two Divisions: Men's League (M1) & Super-League (SL).
Unfortunately most Basketball Teams are University based,and to be part of the Team one has to be a member of the respective University.

To be part of the CT Hurricanes one does not have to be part of a University or be a South African Citizen.
The CT Hurricanes will be entering Teams in all three Leagues in the 2016 Season. Basketball for us is about the Love of the Game and the striving to get better.

We can cater for all skill levels.
